World Cup - Work - Home :)

Yay to flexi-hours at MindValley. I got to watch the football final where Zidane butt headed an Italian's chest and got a red card. Still wondering why he did that. Anyway, I got to work on Monday morning at 11am. Slightly later than the usual time that I report in --> 9:30am.

So the world cup madness has died....no more gorgeous men on TV who would rip their shirts off at the end of the game. I mean, there really isn't anything entertaining on TV since I don't have Astro. And I don't understand Bahasa so I get super frustrated and a little miffed when i see cartoons like Doramon get dubbed into Bahasa. The original language was Japanese I think, so that wouldn't help since I don't understand Japanese too. Maybe it's time to pick up a new language. Point is, it's changed my TV habits since I channel surf and well, watch a whole lot less of it than I did in Ann Arbor. Still addicted to CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) -- John Grisham is wierd but cool!

Work is coming along fine, and I've just completed reading a book on writing Web Copy. Interesting stuff and I can't wait to try writing web copy on my own. I have a morning conference call with an American supplier on Thursday, and will be prepping with Vishen. Still, I'm feeling rather nervous since I will be on the line myself, and will have to remember not to say anything "stupid" if I don't know the answer.

Feeling rather excited as I will be making a trip back to Singapore to see my family and friends! Coral, Jo, Ariane and Moo! Ministry of Sound here I come. :) It'll be good to see my brother too since he will be entering the Singapore army a week from now. I'm kinda skeptical if he will make it through Basic Military Training. hmm...
